This page explains how to request deletion of your Macro-Fit account and the data associated with
it. You can delete your account yourself, directly inside the app — no email or form required.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the Macro-Fit app and sign in.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm by tapping Delete in the confirmation prompt ("All data will permanently be lost").
Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
What data is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data from our systems, including:
- Your account and login credentials (email address and hashed password).
- Your display name and profile settings.
- All food and nutrition data you entered — food logs, history, custom foods, saved meals, goals, and notes.
What data is kept, and for how long
We do not retain your personal food-log data after deletion. Limited records may be kept only where required:
- Subscription / billing records. If you purchased a subscription, transaction records held by
Apple, Google, or our subscription provider (RevenueCat) are retained by those providers as required for tax,
accounting, and legal purposes. We do not store your payment card details at any time.
- Backups. Residual copies may persist in routine encrypted backups for a short period before they
are overwritten on our provider's normal backup cycle (within 30 days).
